Objective: To obtain a design position utilizing my skills, knowledge, experience, and course work.
Abilities/Skills: 3+ yrs. Industrial designer: working both independently and within a team to complete projects from concept to manufacturing. Strong sketching ability and broad software knowledge including: AutoCAD (computer aided drafting), Ashlar Vellum (CAD), Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, In-design, Alias sketch, Form-Z (3d modeling/ rendering), Cinema 4D (3d modeling/ rendering), and Solidworks (3d modeling/ rendering). - (Nov. 2007 to Feb. 20, 2009):
Conceptualize, and design POP displays, retail store furniture, and store fixtures with respect to aesthetics, form and function, and to work in the real world. Also I designed POP signage, and created comps to test the signage in the real world.
Design exhibit space for trade shows such as NADI in New York, and Globalshop. I had to develop a theme and look for the tradeshows to display our new product, and our manufacturing capabilities.
Re-thinking and re-engineering concepts to fit within clients allotted budget while maintaining design language integrity, public safety, public interaction, product durability, and aesthetics.
Using CAD software such as Autocad, Adobe Illustrator, and Vellum to develop CAD drawings from conceptual stage to bring the products to the manufacturing stage.
Using 3D modeling software such as Form-Z, Solidworks and Cinema 4D to create 3D models and renderings to show to prospective clients our ideas, and how there product will look.
Take pictures of product, edited pictures in photo editing program (Photoshop) to be put in a catalog.
Design company ads with respect to concept, content, and design layout for POP and retail fixture magazines using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Indesign.
Design new compelling pages for product catalog arranging photos of product and developing page layouts utilizing Adobe Indesign and Adobe Illustrator.
Design, create, and comp signage for tradeshows.
Communicate with vendors for production of Fixtures, furniture, and print production of catalogs and ads.

Keep open communication with the designers, and meet tight landmark deadlines.
